Live theatre event based on the novel "Slaughterhouse 5" by Kurt Vonnegut. Stage design in German expressionist with links to Die Brücke movement. Painted onto the background of theatre hall, lit to show. As show progresses the stage moves three times. The middle screen shows an animation, as it moves down to a sculpture of a geodesic dome, a short throw projector will be inside, projecting outward to the opaque surface. The buildings in the foreground will be lit later on in the performance as it moves into the third act. The three layer set design references the three time zones of the novel, also three distinct artistic disciplines being animation, sculpture and audio. Three acts of a play.
